Hello and welcome everybody! My name is Sam Shankland, and it seems that you have stumbled onto my website. I am currently a 20 year-old College student at Brandeis University who works part-time as a chess professional. I am mostly inactive from tournament play now, but I still play from time to time and I play quite a bit during the summer (May through August). My primary service is instruction, and I am always happy to take on new students of all ages, levels, and nationalities.
